Checklist

  1. Coordinate with Architectural Floor Plan.
    1. Layout shall agree with Architectural Drawings.
  2. Indication of North.
  3. "Drawing Title Designation" for Floor Plan.
  4. Reference items on HV AC Plans to the details of these items appearing on other sheets.
  5. Include a note to read: "See Sheet (Information Sheet) for clarification of Symbols used."
  6. Column Reference Grids.
    1. Coordinate with Architectural Floor Plans.
  7. Room Names and Numbers
    1. Coordinate with Architectural Floor Plans.
  8. Air Handling Units, Convectors, Ductwork, etc.
    1. Units numbered and scheduled.
    2. Ductwork arranged to realistically fit in the space available.
  9. Cut sections if necessary to clarify ductwork arrangements.
  10. Coordinate with Structural Drawings, Piping Drawings, Electrical Drawings, etc.
  11. Piping for Air-Conditioning and Heating Units.
    1. Clearly distinguish between pipe underground, below ceilings, above ceilings, etc.
  12. Diffusers, grilles, etc.
    1. Coordinate location with Reflected Ceiling Plan and Electrical Plan.
    2. Coordinate type of diffuser grille, etc. with type of ceiling used (concealed spline, exposed grid, etc.)
    3. Exhaust Fans
    4. Number each and Schedule.
  13. Variable Air Volume Boxes
    1. Number each and Schedule.
  14. Humidifiers.
    1. Number each and Schedule.
  15. Chillers.
    1. Number each and Schedule.
  16. Reheat Coils.
    1. Number each and Schedule.
  17. Pumps.
    1. Number each and Schedule.
  18. Boilers
    1. Number each and Schedule.
    2. Gas Piping, Fuel Oil Supply and Return, and Pump.
    3. Feedwater Supply and Return and Pump.
    4. Stearn - Flues.
  19. Hot Water Heaters.
    1. Number each and Schedule.
  20. Sound Attenuators.
    1. Number each and Schedule.
  21. Water Coils.
    1. Number each and Schedule.
  22. Doors requiring undercutting or doors to receive louvers.
    1. Coordinate louver size with door size.
    1. Exhaust for Restrooms, Engine Maintenance, Janitor Rooms, etc.
  23. Ventilation for rooms with dry type transformers.
  24. Check location of exhaust flues, hot water heater flues, boiler flues, roof top units, etc. which would look unsightly when seen from the ground.
  25. Thermostats.
    1. Indicate mounting height.
    2. Indicate if locked covers are required.
  26. Check U.L. System, selected for the Project, for conformance of the Drawings and Specification with the U.L. System.
  27. Future expansion provisions.
  28. Fire and Smoke Dampers.
  29. Housekeeping concrete pads under equipment.
  30. Pressure relief for vestibules with sets of doors.
  31. Floor grilles for raised access (computer) flooring.
  32. Duct insulation thickness indicated for supply and return.
  33. Vibration Isolation.
