Note: Architectural Hardware will specify, in addition to Butts, Locksets, Closers, etc., all thresholds, weatherstripping, drip caps, light-proofing, sound seals, folding and sliding door hardware, etc. Therefore, all necessary information such as style, finish and type of Hardware, Frame and Door Schedule, Door Frame Details including sill conditions should be transmitted to Architectural Hardware in sufficient time to allow them to prepare the Hardware specification. Include the name of the code or codes which govern the Project. Transmit two sets of Floor Plans so they may indicate the Hardware set numbers on both copies, return one to us and retain one copy for their file.
Checklist
Weatherstripping on all exterior Doors unless specified elsewhere.
Rain drips at Door heads where necessary.
Exit devices where required.
Weatherstripping on Doors to plenum rooms.
Cylinders for aluminum entrance Doors, roll-up Doors, etc.
Electronic Hardware - Coordinate with Electrical Specs and Drawings.
Light-Proofing.
Coordinate ''Door Frame Details" (Sill Conditions) with thresholds specified under Hardware Section of specification.
Sliding Door Hardware.
Check finish of Hardware specified.
