Checklist
- Column Reference Grids.
- Indication of North.
- "Drawing Title Designation."
- Plan shall agree with Floor Plan.
- Ceiling Grid Pattern.
- Lighting Fixture (Recessed and surface mounted).
- Supply Diffusers, Return Air Grilles, Exhaust Grilles, etc.
- Access Panels
- Coordinate with Mechanical Consultant as to where access panels are needed in inaccessible ceilings.
- Access Units in partially accessible ceilings.
- Sprinkler Heads
- If Sprinkler Heads are to be placed in a particular location in regard to grid, they should be indicated.
- Changes in Ceiling Heights.
- Special Ceiling Patterns.
- Exposed Beams.
- Skylights.
- Roof Hatches.
- Expansion Joints and Control Joints.
- Incorporate furring over cabinets and shelves into Reflected Ceiling Plan.
- Cubicle Tracks, IV Tracks, X-ray Equipment Tracks, etc.
- Surgery Lights.
- Speakers.
- Kitchen Exhaust Hoods.
- "Section or Detail References."
- Details of changes in Ceiling Height, Interior Soffits, Drapery Pockets, etc.
- Extend of Sound Attentuation Overlay Panels.
- Exterior Canopies - Coordinate lighting and control joint locations with Electrical Drawings.
- Clarify extent of Reglets in soffits and where they start and end.
- Coordinate air-conditioning diffuser type, light fixture type, speaker type, etc. with ceiling system used (especially with concealed spline system.)
- Check for and detail "Draft Stops" above ceilings where required.
- Clarification of symbols used.
- If possible, use the same graphic representation on Reflected Ceiling Plans as used on HV AC, Lighting, Communication, and other Floor Plans.
