Toilet Rooms
- Interior elevations of Toilet Rooms are not necessary if placement of all items and accessories can be clearly conveyed through the use of Floor Plans, Toilet Room Accessory Schedule and Reference Designations.
- Enlarged Partial Floor Plans of Toilet Rooms are required if scale of Building Floor Plan is insufficient to clearly convey information.
- A few typical interior elevations may be required if special conditions exist or horizontal arrangement of accessories need clarification.
- Enlarged Toilet Room Floor Plans with "Column Reference Grids," "Indication of North" and "Drawing Title Designations."
- Indicate all items including accessories on the Floor Plans with "Reference Designations" for each accessory.
- Indicate floor drains (coordinate location with Plumbing Drawings.)
- Slopes to drain.
- Stops for toilet partition doors which swing against interior partitions.
- Dimension chase walls.
- Dimension toilet compartments.
- Dimension space between lavatories and urinal centerlines if critical.
- Dimension urinal screens.
- Detail counter tops.
- Detail shower stalls - Shower head should be located such that it sprays water away from entrance to shower.
- Accessory Description, Model Number and Mounting Height - Use preprinted "Toilet Room Accessory Schedule."
- Clarify length of items which have the same catalog number for various lengths such as mop racks, grab bars, etc.
- Use "Specification References."
- Verify that recessed accessories will fit in partitions.
- Clearly define extent of wall and floor finishes if more than one is used.
- Indicate access panels for piping.
- Investigate support for and proper configuration of toilet stalls for ceiling hung toilet partitions, when used.

- Size
- Marble thresholds
- Grout Bed or Dry Set Installation
- Provisions for handicapped.
