Roof Framing Plan

Checklist

1. Column Reference Grid.

2. Dimensions.

3. Indication of North.

4. Framing members and sizes.

5. Framing for roof openings such as roof drains, skylight, roof scuttles, exhaust fans, fresh air intakes, etc.

6. Coordinate all dimensions, columns, reference grids, opening locations, framing members, etc. with Architectural Drawings.

7. Framing for support of cooling towers, roof top air-conditioning units, etc.

8. Framing for elevator penthouses.

9. Coordinate roof system (and intermediate floor systems) with system used on project: that is, if a specific U.L. system is selected, the structural system must fully comply with this system.

10. Elevations of top of steel must agree with Architectural Drawings.
